"Friends of the Arts"  is one of nine activity categories presented by the Newcomers Club

Harmony Grits Chorus ...
Twice monthly. Daytime. For those who love to sing. The chorus learns and practices songs both for enjoyment and for programs that are presented to the public.

Music Lovers ...
Twice Group meets each month to share recent productions we've attended, talk about what events we'd like to highlight during the next month or two, and maintain a list of upcoming events all over the Reno-Sparks area, with an eye to attending some together if people are interested.

Movie Discussion Group ...
Monthly. Couples and Singles.  Sunday Evening. Meet to discuss and review a movie assigned previously.

Theater Group ...
 Monthly. Evening. Couples and Singles. The group attends a little-theater (translate inexpensive) event with dinner optional.

Photography ...
Monthly. Whether you're a novice or an experienced photographer, shooting prints, slides, or using a digital camera, come join our new group to discuss photographs, picture taking, and printmaking.  Field trips for photo shoots, guest speakers, visits to galleries, and group discussion of particular subjects or problem areas are all possibilities.
